Kolikkokoteloita juomapakkauksista - Coin Boxes

Kierrätä pahviset juomatölkit ja tee niistä kolikkokoteloita!
Recycle your drink cartons and turn them into coin boxes!

Näitä tarvitset - This is what you'll need:

  • pahvisen juomatölkin (huuhdo hyvin ja kuivata) - empty drink carton (rinse it and let dry)
  • kynän -  pencil
  • viivottimen -  ruler
  • sakset - scissors
  • askarteluveitsen - hobby knife

Tee näin - This is how you make it:

Mittaa tölkin pohjan sivumitta. Mittaa saamasi mitan verran pohjasta ylöspäin ja piirrä siihen kynällä vaakasuora viiva tölkin joka sivulle. Leikkaa tölkki matalaksi piirtämääsi viivaa pitkin ja leikkaa samalla halkiot yhden sivun kulmiin (tästä sivusta tulee kotelon läppä).

Measure the side of the cartons bottom. Measure the same upwards from the bottom and draw a line round the carton at this height. Cut the carton along the line with scissors. Cut also slits on two corners (this will form the fly to close the box).

Muotoile sivut leikkaamalla ne kuten kuvassa yllä - alas jää n. sentin korkuinen suora kohta ja tylppä kulma on suurin piirtein puolessa välissä viistoa osaa.

Form the sides by cutting with scissors as in picture above - there will be a straight part near the bottom and the obtuse angle is roughly in the middle of the diagonal part.

Taita sivuosat painamalla niitä kuvan mukaan sisään päin.

Fold the sides inside as in the picture.

Leikkaa läppäosan kulmat viistosti.

Cut the corners of the fly diagonally.

Leikkaa taskuosaan viilto askarteluveitsellä noin 1,5 cm:n etäisyydelle pohjasta - jätä sivuille 3 - 6 mm ehjää kartonkia (viivotinta apuna käyttäen saat viillosta täsmällisen).

Make a slash on the pocket part with the hobby knife (ca. 1,5 cm from the bottom) - leave 3 to 6 mm intact on both sides (working with ruler makes the slash more precise).

Sujauta läppä viiltoon ja kotelosi on valmis!

Tuck the fly in the slash and your coin box is finished!

P.S. Näitä oli myynnissä eräässä käsityöliäspuodissa Fiskarsissa 10 euron kappalehinnalla...

  4. Kyllä näissä rahat sisällä pysyy! Kolikoita ei tosin ihan hirvittävää määrää näihin mahdu, mutta eihän se ole kolikkokotelon tarkoituskaan ; )
