Tämä projektini on ollut tekeillä jo ainakin pari vuotta, mutta teelmys oli hautautunut kaikenlaisen käsityöroinan sekaan viimeistelyä vaille valmiina. Löytäessäni sen puolivahingossa päätin vihdoin päärmätä reunat, jotta ompelukoneen suojaliina pääsisi arvoiseensa tehtävään.
Kangas on puolipellavaa ja kuviot ommeltu muliinilangalla, lähinnä varsipistoin. Käsityöaiheiset kirjontakuviot ovat Sublime Stitchingin Craftopia-arkilta. Taustapuolelle kirjailin koneen nimen.
This project of mine has been in the making at least for two years but it was buried under all kinds of craft stuff. The embroidery was ready but the cover lacked finishing. As it half-accidentally emerged among the stuff I decided to hem it. And now the sewing machine cover reached it's proper duty.
The fabric is half-linen and the embroidery is made with stranded cotton, mainly with stem stitches. Crafty motifs are from sublime Stitching's Craftopia-sheet. The back side got the machine's name.
